Jewish Artists Exhibiting in Madrid
ENGLISH CORNER, CON LINDA JIMÉNEZ – This week’s trivia question: Where and when was the organization AJAPE founded?
AJAPE is an association of Jewish artists which will be exhibiting at Espacio Ronda, a cultural center in the heart of Madrid, near the Puerta de Toledo, not far from the Rastro, where the famous weekly flea market is held. We spoke with Claudia Tijman, one of the participating artists, about AJAPE and the exhibition, which will be open from October 15 through November 2.
The exhibition will be at Espacio Ronda, Ronda de Segovia, 50, metro station Puerta de Toledo. The opening will be on Thursday, October 15, at 8:30 pm, and you can see the exhibit from Monday through Saturday, from 10 am to 2 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm.
