The European Association for Jewish Studies, with Dr. François Guesnet

ENGLISH CORNER, CON LINDA JIMÉNEZ – This week’s trivia question: When and where was the last EAJS Conference held, and how many presentations were given there?

The European Association for Jewish Studies (EAJS) is the sole umbrella organization for Europe representing this field of university studies. Its aims are the encouragement and support of the research and teaching of Jewish studies at university level in Europe, and other places of higher education and learning.

Dr. François Guesnet is a member of the Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies at University College London and Secretary of the EAJS. He spoke with us about the Association and its activities.
